Money Pots make a brilliant personalised gift for special occasions like weddings, christenings, birthdays, engagements and even new homes; as well as for someone who is saving up for something a bit extravagant (car, holiday, tools, computer – and just about anything else!).
Terramundi Money Pots have been traditionally used in Italy for over 2000 years and their hand thrown design has remained unchanged. The British Museum houses examples of these ancient money pots.
Once the first coin is dropped the money pot must be fed until full, and as there is no plastic stopper, to get the cash out it must be smashed whilst making a wish. It is customary to replace the pot and spend the money on ‘good things’, they bring good fortune.
Each money pot includes a separate fortune card. Money pots hold approximately £200 in mixed silver or £400 in gold coins.
You can have your money pot personalised with a couple of words on the front and the back

PS – A good recycling tip if you want to keep your Money Pot once you have filled it, is to use a flat headed screw driver or chisel, place it in the slot were you have been putting your money and gently push down. The top will pop off and you can the sand the edges down to use it as a plant pot or a sweet jar.
